My Routine

I’m not really following a set schedule because, well, I’m not a robot. Life is messy and full of twists and turns. Generally speaking though, my weekly routine looks something like this:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

  • One hour training session – usually strength/ resistance training since I get a lot of cardio at home
  • Xbox Kinect ; 15 to 20 min. 3x daily
  • Yoga 1-2x/week
  • Typical household stuff (dishes, laundry, etc.)


  • Xbox Kinect
  • Kickboxing Class at 9am
  • 20 min. resistance training

All Other Days

  • Household chores
  • Play with dogs
  • Xbox Kinect
  • Stationary bike
  • Self-Defense class (in a few months)
  • Shopping (totally counts as exercise)
  • Warmer months – walking and swimming

Eventually, I plan to incorporate more activities into the routine, such as self-defense classes, more yoga, swimming, kickboxing and maybe/possibly/perhaps Zumba. Yes, I just might jump on the Zumba train. For now, I’m happy with my current routine, but I know I’ll want to change things up at some point. Gotta stay motivated!
